Energy workshops

Make your pupils aware of energy transition

Our energy workshops make your pupils aware of energy production and preservation by focusing on renewable energies. Handling models of wind turbines, solar panels and a turbine of a hydropower plant gets children to participate actively. In addition, games and a quiz contribute to ensuring good appropriation of the ideas dealt with in an entertaining way. These workshops are held in the classroom and mediated by a coordinator.

The pedagogy is based on three pillars to awaken the curiosity of pupils and promote exchanges

  • The theme of resources (30 min) with a theoretical approach to understand the different sources of energy used in France with emphasis placed on 3 renewable energies: “water, wind and sun “.
Pedagogical tools : multimedia with videos, fossils that can be handled, samples representing fossil fuels.
  • The technical theme (45 min) with an experimental approach and the handling of several models by group of 6 pupils.
Pedagogical tools: models (wind turbine, hydropower, solar power), voltmeter, experiment sheets to fill in.
  • The games theme (30 min) with an entertaining approach to validate learning.
Pedagogical tools: game of 7 mistakes of eco-actions, the “turbine drives!” card game, MCQ.
